it's ok to be stereotypically "girly" regardless of what gender you are. I feel like the "tomboy" girl stereotype is being forced too much into society and being "girly" is being less accepted and stereotyping those kind of people as "weak"

M'gann from young justice is an excellent example of how stereotypically "girly" girls can be just as good as any other girl and just as strong. I will admit, at first I found her annoying, (but that was really only because of her constant repetition of saying "hello, Megan" and what she did to Conner in season 2) but after that I began to realise what image she is setting out there for young girls which made me began to appreciate her more.

so as those who have watched young justice know, M'gann is what you call a "girly" girl. She is emotional, giggly, talkative and loves to do things whatever a "girly" girl does. I feel like fans are blinded by her "girly" characteristics and immediately label her as "weak" and "annoying" and make her seem like the most bîtçhîèst character and it annoys me.

there is nothing wrong with acting "girly". honestly why are girls put down and talked shît about for acting the way a stereotype that has been labelled onto them! why are we encouraging every girl to be tomboy and boyish like, why can't we just encourage people to be whatever personality they want to be.

I feel like some feminists are pushing girls too hard to be one way, this is not what feminists are about. yes girls can be "boyish" and "tough, but they are also allowed to be "girly". being "girly" doesn't make anyone weak, it's just a feature of their personality. it's the same for boys, being "girly" doesn't make them "gay" (that's not even a bad thing) or an "outcast", it's part of who they are.

so if you want to be the inner "girly" girl you are, be like it, it doesn't mean you're weak, you can still be strong.

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I feel like I'm starting to turn " girly", but I guess that's just what happens when I grow up! it's like sometimes I don't even want to wear a dress bcs it's "girly". also bcs I have a sis who doesn't wear makeup, but I actually want to do my eyebrows and add concealer sometimes.
